ABOUT
Elettra is a choreographer, movement director, and producer from Sicily, based in London. She works across film, music videos, fashion, live performances, and installation settings.
Her choreographic research focuses on using the body as a medium to explore themes related to the female experience, as well as intimacy, empowerment and care.
She has choreographed for artists including Obongjayar, Kay Young, and Paris Paloma. Elettra has also provided movement direction for campaigns like Cadbury’s Big Win-Win, with her choreography work showcased at venues like Whitechapel Gallery, The Place, and 180 The Strand.
As a producer, she has worked with Igor x Moreno Dance Company (UK & Italy), Scenario Pubblico (Italy), and Sadler’s Wells (UK).
In March 2024 she founded WMN*, an event platform dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the work of women and non-binary creatives.
Most recently, she was awarded ‘Best Female Director’ at Viagrande Film Festival for her short film ‘To Hold My Love’.
She holds an MA in Arts Administration & Production from Goldsmiths University and a BA in Dance Studies from Roehampton University.
