ABOUT

Elettra is a choreographer and movement director from Sicily (Italy), based in London. She works across moving image, stills and live performance.

Her choreographic research focuses on womanhood and the female experience through themes of intimacy, empowerment and vulnerability.

She has choreographed for artists including Obongjayar, Kay Young, and Paris Paloma. With her choreography work showcased at venues like Whitechapel Gallery, The Place, and 180 The Strand.

In March 2024 she founded WMN*, an event platform dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the work of women and non-binary creatives.

Most recently, she was awarded ‘Best Female Director’ at Viagrande Film Festival for her short film ‘To Hold My Love’.

She holds an MA in Arts Administration & Production from Goldsmiths University and a BA in Dance Studies from Roehampton University.
